What is Maltitol Crystalline?

Maltitol Crystalline is a sugar replacement and food ingredient that is derived from Maltose Syrup. It is hydrogenated, refined and crystalised from the forementioned Maltose Syrup. This produces a white, or off-white, odourless powder.

Maltitol is about 90% as sweet as sugar, so is often used in sugar-free or reduced-sugar products, catering to those with diabetes or on low-carb diets. It also has several applications across various industries.
